There are some animal which Teiganese do not shift to. These are the native animals to this world.
I will list the ones that I've designed and later link to their pictures when I upload them.
Donre ( DAHN er)
This is a rodent class within which there are many species.
Pygmy Donres
These mostly resemble rabbits/hares
Tufted Pygmy Donre sometimes reffered to as "Tufty/Tufties"
While they may be consider game in many areas, the tufty is a popular pet. About 1- 1.5 hands high, they are small enough to cuddle and play with. These guys are pretty swift and clever, but once tamed, they rely heavily on their caretaker. They're intellegent enough to let their masters do the foraging so they don't have to ^_^ Especially when they are raised to expect that.
Tufties are found in any shade of brown, grey, and less commonly can be pure black or white.
They sport long tufts on fur at the ends of their ears and their long tail.
Sparrow Donre / Sparrow Pygmy Donre
Slightly larger than it's tufty cousin, they can sometimes grow to two full hand lengths high.
Extremely rabbit-like with wings. Very rarely can an individual use these wings. Often they are useless, or may only be used to glide. Then there are the fewer who are able to hover, by flapping their wings with extreme rapidity.
Common in creams, tawny, ash. Can also be found in chestnut.
Also used as a pet.
/pygmies
Savannah Donre
Note: Not a pygmy
Actually rather wallaby like. Has huge hind quarters which it stands on. Has a long, slender tail with fur at the end. Colours range from tawny to rust. Can be greys, too. Not a marsupial!
This fellow grows up to three feet high, much larger than it's smaller cousins.
Blaine
Common Blaine
Description to come.
Sacred Blaine aka Crowned Blaine
This ungulate (hoofed animal) is rare and beautiful. It has three stiking sets of horn upon it head. From snout to horn tip is about a three foot span. It stands over seven feet high. It's well built and has a horse-like tail. It hooves are each cloven, with three 'toes' each. It s large ears are roundish and it has a magestically long face. Theres are usually faint stripes on the neck and long spots on its back.
